Hi and welcome! I am so excited to share with you all of my motherhood tips, tricks, challenges and realities. Motherhood isn’t all smiles and rainbows like what we can sometimes see on social media. It is hard work, anxiety provoking and can often leave you in tears. I know because I have been there. I have experienced severe post-natal anxiety which saw me hospitalised for 1 month when my son was just 6 weeks old.
However, I have come out the other side with a passion to destigmatise mental health issues for mothers. I want you to know that it is OK to feel the way you do. Talking about your challenges, working on your mindset and practicing self-care are all things that have helped me overcome my anxiety and helped me get MY life back. Now, I want to help YOU get your life back!
